Sun Commons is a 103-unit affordable housing community located at 6329 N. Clybourn Avenue in the North Hollywood neighborhood of the City of Los Angeles.  The Development will include 51 units for extremely low-income, special needs households (30% AMI) and 50 units for low- and very-low income households (40% - 60% AMI). The Development will also include two manager’s units. Of the 51 special needs units, 33 units will be set aside for homeless and chronically homeless households, and 18 units will be set aside for households where one or more members is a frequent user of services offered by the Los Angeles County Departments of Health Services (DHS) and Mental Health (DMH); all 51 special needs units are subsidized with Section 8 Project-Based Vouchers issued by the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (“HACLA”).
