The Los Angeles County Housing Resource Center was created in April 2007 to help people list and find affordable, special needs, accessible, and/or emergency housing within the County of Los Angeles. This web-based service is supported by a toll-free call center and helps provide information to the general public as well as professionals seeking vital housing resources for clients.

This service provides the following features and more:

• Free searching and listing of housing.
• Detailed listings that can include pictures and information about amenities such as hospitals, schools, and public transit.
• Helpful tools, including an affordability calculator, rental checklist, and information about renters' rights and responsibilities.
• The website is accessible and multilingual.
• Support from a bilingual toll-free call center is available at 1-877-428-8844, Mondays – Fridays from 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time (English and Spanish, voice and TTY).
• Housing information is updated regularly.
• A resource for people displaced during times of disaster.

About This Project

Housing.LACounty.gov is managed by the Los Angeles County Development Authority and is supported by partnerships with the County of Los Angeles, the City of Pasadena, and the City of Los Angeles Housing and Community Investment Department (HCIDLA).

These partner websites also share listings and information with a range of features and technology tailored to the needs of specific cities and agencies. The service fosters collaboration and information sharing among all jurisdictions within the County.
